Earthworks Business Outlook 2016

Earthworks Business Outlook 2016

business outlookIn this series of articles we will put a spotlight on area businesses who have given back to the community in some way. Typically volunteer work, donations, or some other initiative is furthered along by the philanthropic efforts of these local businesses. This is part 1 of 4 for 2016.

The first area business we would like to honor is the Houston chapter of Forklift Safety Solutions and their forklift train the trainer courses. They have lead the way in proper warehouse safety associated with all types of forklift and boom lift applications. Going hand in hand with their forklift training, they encouraged other area businesses to use safety precautions such as installing LED forklift blue lights on all forklifts. Because of this, our area is one of the lowest in the nation of on-the-job deaths associated with forklifts and other heavy machinery. This is why we think they deserve to be honored in this first quarter.
